| MEMBERSHIP | ||
i) |
The Association shall be organized on all Bangladesh basis and may have branches anywhere in Bangladesh . |

| CATEGORIES OF MEMBERSHIP | ||
| There shall be two categories of voting members: Ordinary and Associatiat member. | ||
| These are outlined below: | ||
| a. Voting Membership Categories | ||
| 1. Ordinary | ||
| Fertilizer Distributor : | ||
An individual, business or firm who lifts fertilizer from factories or ports and has dealers or sells to independent dealers or retailers to market fertilizer. |
||
| Fertilizer Manufacturer or Producer : | ||
Any plant or firm that manufactures or blends fertilizer nutrients or soil amendments for sale through exporters, traders’ distributors or merchants in Bangladesh. |
||
| Fertilizer Import or Exporter : | ||
An individual, business or firm that primarily imports fertilizers for domestic consumption or exports domestically – manufactured fertilizers to other countries. |
||
| 2. Associate | ||
| Fertilizer Merchant: | ||
An individual , business or firm who sells fertilizer products as a wholesaler or retailer but is not included in the category of Ordinary members. |
||
| Supplier’s Agents or Representative : The agent or representative of a company based overseas that provides fertilizers or input supplies to importers . |

| ii)

The Board of Directors may pass resolutions to receive “ contribution at source” from the members and /or donations forms any source(s). |
|
| iii) | The Chairman /Executive Secretary shall submit Application for Membership to the Board of Directors for their decision. |
|
| iv) | If an application for membership is rejected, the applicant shall be informed of the reason or reasons for such rejection. |
|
| v). | In the event of an application being rejected ,the admission fee and annual Subscription shall be refunded to the applicant and no further application from the same applicant Shall be entertained for a period of one year from the date of such rejection. |
